Environmental Vehicle Inspections and Car Maintenance reduces the environmental impact of automobiles by reducing the emission of toxic gases, noises and vibrations as well as improving fuel efficiency. The Advance Club (our agent and prominent car maintenance group) provides and endeavors to diffuse the use of environmental vehicle inspection with an advanced service where the combustion chamber can be cleaned without having to dismantle the engine. Over 600 member factories all over the country now provide technical training.
What are environmental vehicle inspections and car maintenance?
- • Maintenance that is necessary for improving fuel efficiency such as combustion chamber carbon cleaning (internal cleaning of the engine) and engine adjustments.
- • Those operations will remove carbon, sludge and varnish that are the causes of toxic gases, and will make the conditions of the vehicle comparable to a new one.
- • Fuel efficiency is further improved by undergoing recommended services such as engine oil change, oil element change and oil flashing.
Proving the advantageous effects of improving fuel efficiency through environmental vehicle inspections and car maintenance
We have succeeded to prove the beneficiary effects of improved fuel efficiency through a collaborative research with Prof. Washino of Tottori University of Environmental Studies. Improved fuel efficiency suppresses fuel consumption and reduces the emission of CO2, one of the principal greenhouse gases.
Publicizing environmental vehicle inspections at environmental events [Advance Club Chiba/North-Chiba branches]
The Chiba and North Chiba branches of the Advance Club have exhibited at the environmental work fair “Eco Messe 2006 in Chiba” to publicize environmental vehicle inspections. This fair that was organized around the theme of “Let's make a sustainable society -a new and wise eco-life-” saw the participation of 67 groups and corporations and recorded 8,000 visitors.
The sharp increase in petrol prices gave them the perfect opportunity to appeal the use of environmental vehicle inspections both from the environmental and economic point o view with the slogan, “let's reduce carbon emissions while saving money on petrol”.
