Lecture at Universitas Indonesia (MSIG Indonesia)
We have held a special lecture on “Risk Management Insight” at the Economics Department of Universitas Indonesia. We presented our advanced risk management activities to more than 60 doctorate students who eagerly asked us questions. (Sep.14, 2007)
4th medical seminar on “Cigarettes and Disease” (Okayama branch)
We held the abovementioned seminar at the Santa Hall of Sanyo Shimbun Newspaper.
More than 130 people participated to listen to Dr. Yoshiaki Moritani, Chairman of the Okayama Prefecture Anti-Smoking Council, talk about the relationship between cigarettes and disease, the dangers of passive smoking and effective methods to stop smoking.
We have also announced at the seminar, our active full participation in the ban on smoking and littering on the streets which will be initiated by Okayama prefecture on the 4th of September. (Aug.24, 2007)
CSR study session with high school students
11 students of the Suginami High School visited us on the 13th of July and interviewed us on our Social Contribution Activities and CSR activities. We had the chance to talk about our efforts to achieve greater road safety, the audification of our product pamphlets and the Smile Heart Club. (Jul.13, 2007)
Local elementary school students visited our Chiba CNT Center
Local elementary school students visited our CNT center as part of their school program. The students make use of the view from the high building in order to produce a map of the town. These visits have been conducted for the last 8 years and this year 544 students from 13 schools visited our office (in total 3,716 students from 78 schools). (Jun.20, 2007)

The CNT Center is a particularly important building for its computer related work, and due to security issues we cannot allow visitors outside these visits for school students.
Seminar on “Nursing Care and the Life after Retirement” (Okayama branch)
We have held the abovementioned seminar at the Santa Hall of Sanyo Shimbun Newspaper. More than 200 people participated to learn about the current conditions of nursing care, the options and expenses involved with nursing care and on how to choose the most suitable nursing home.
The Okayama branch holds seminars periodically and 4 seminars are planned for this year. (May 22, 2007)
Family judo class
We held a family judo class at our company's gymnasium in Setagaya.
More than 80 people including students of the Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Boys and Girls Judo Club and their parents participated, and had the chance to learn from past Olympic medalists such as Masae Ueno and Yuki Yokozawa and to talk to them at the reception after the class. (May 3, 2007)
